ASSEMBLY CONSTITUENCIES CONTINUE TO LIFT PDS ITEMS
Imphal, June 6, 2020 (DIPR): Several Assembly Constituencies (ACs) of the State continue to lift PDS items, specially rice, allocated for June 2020 from certain godowns located at various parts of the State. The lifted PDS items are for distribution to the beneficiaries of the ACs.
In Imphal West District, a total of 2,644.45 quintal of rice under National Food Security Act (NFSA) was lifted today. The lifted rice consisted of 1,846.6 quintal for Lamshang AC and 797.85 quintal for Langthabal AC. With the above lifting, the two ACs had completely lifted its allocated quantity of NFSA rice for June, 2020.
Mao AC of Senapati District reported lifting of 1,983.92 quintal of rice under NFSA today. The AC also lifted 2,268.53 quintal of rice under the scheme on 5th June, 2020.
Ukhrul AC and Chingai AC of Ukhrul District today lifted 546.35 quintal and 1,031.45 quintal of rice under NFSA respectively from Ukhrul FCI godown. Ukhrul AC also lifted 1,220.15 quintal of rice under the same scheme on 5th June, 2020.
In Tamenglong District too, lifting of 85.28 quintal of rice under NFSA was carried on for its Tamei AC of Tousem Sub-Division from FCI godown, Jiribam on 5th June, 2020. There was lifting of 590 quintal of NFSA rice for Tamenglong AC as well from FCS, Sanagaiprou on the same day.
It may be mentioned that the State Government had been taking up concerted efforts, by distributing PDS items to the residents of the State, to ensure availability of foodgrain during the ongoing lockdown.
LIFTING OF ALLOCATED PDS RICE FOR JUNE CONTINUES
Imphal, June 08, 2020(DIPR) :To ensure that the people of the State are provided adequate PDS items especially rice, the State Government continue lifting PDS rice for the month of June, 2020 despite lockdown in the State to contain outbreak of COVID-19.
In continuing lifting today, 3268 quintal of rice under NFSA was lifted in Imphal West district which consists 1815.9 quintal for Thangmeiband AC and 1452.1 quintal for Singjamei AC respectively. So far, four assembly constituencies in Imphal West district viz, Lamshang, Langthabal, Thangmeiband and Singjamei has completely lifted the quantity allocated for the month of June.
Tamei Assembly Constituency (Tamei Sub-division) in Tamenglong district too lifted 1268.40 quintal of rice under NFSA from FCS godown, Sangaiprou today.
It may be mentioned that 1043.20 quintal of rice under NFSA for Wangkhem AC in Thoubal district has been lifted on 06.06.2020.
The State Government is working tirelessly and has ensured that enough foodgrains are made available in every district of the State during the lockdown.

LIFTING OF PDS ITEMS CONTINUES IN THE STATE
Imphal, June 10, 2020 (DIPR): PDS items allocated to Assembly Constituencies (ACs) of the State for June 2020 continues to be lifted from certain godowns located at various parts of the State.
Today, in Imphal West District, Uripok AC and Keishamthong AC had completely lifted their allocated quantities of rice under National Food Security Act (NFSA) i.e. 1,668.15 quintal and 1,674.85 quintal respectively. Naoriya Pakhanglakpa AC of the District reported lifting of 2,222.36 quintal of NFSA rice on 9th June, 2020. So far seven ACs of Imphal West District namely Thangmeiband,Uripok, Keishamthong, Singjamei, Lamshang, Naoriya Pakhanglakpa and Langthabal had completed lifting of their allocated quantities of NFSA rice for June, 2020.
Nungba AC of Noney District lifted 768.50 quintal of rice under Pradhan Mantri Garib Kalyan Anna Yojana (PMGKAY) from FCI godown, Sangaiprou today. The AC also lifted 28 quintal of dal allocated for the month of May under the same scheme from FCS godown, Koirengei.
Tamenglong AC, Haochong Sub-Division too reported lifting of 500 quintal of rice under PMGKAY from FCI godown, Sangaiprou.
It may be mentioned that PDS rice and dal under various schemes namely NFSA, PMGKAY and Open Market Sales Scheme (OMSS) are being lifted for distribution to the residents of the State to ensure availability of foodgrain during the ongoing lockdown.

PDS ITEMS ALLOCATED FOR THE MONTH OF JUNE CONTINUES TO BE LIFTED
Imphal, June 15, 2020 (DIPR): PDS items allocated for the month of June, 2020 continues to be lifted from several FCI Godowns located at various parts of the State. In Imphal West District, a total of 1,241 quintal of rice under National Food Security Act (NFSA), consisting of 498 quintal for Patsoi Assembly Constituency (AC) and 743 quintal for Sekmai-Saitu AC, was lifted today.
Tamei AC of Tamenglong District reported lifting of 1,122 quintal of rice under Pradhan Mantri Garib Kalyan Anna Yojana (PMGKAY) from FCI godown, Sangaiprou today. The AC also lifted 113.77 quintal of Masoor dal, allocated for the month of May, from Koirengei FCS godown. In Senapati District too, there was lifting of 2,298.55 quintal of PMGKAY rice for its Karong AC today.
In Imphal East District, Thongju AC and Keirao AC, today, had completely lifted its allocated quantity of 89.51 quintal and 65.44 quintal respectively for May, 2020. Lamlai AC of the District lifted 1,832.20 quintal of PMGKAY rice on 13th June, 2020.
On 13th June, 2020, Oinam AC of Bishnupur District also completely lifted its allocated quantity of 1,536.10 quintal of PMGKAY rice from FCI godown, Sangaiprou
The PDS items allocated under PMGKAY, NFSA and Open Market Sale Scheme (OMSS) are lifted for distribution to the beneficiaries of the State to ensure uninterrupted supply of food grain , during the ongoing lockdown.
Imphal, June 16, 2020 (DIPR): Distribution of PDS rice continues in the State to ensure availability of foodgrain to its residents during the ongoing lockdown. In Imphal West District, 1,668.15 quintal of rice under National Food Security Act (NFSA) was distributed to the beneficiaries of Uripok Assembly Constituency today.
There was also report on lifting of rice in Imphal West District. Patsoi AC and Sekmai-Saitu AC of the District lifted 1,774.83 quintal and 1,134.35 quintal of NFSA rice respectively thereby completing its allocated quota for June 2020. Till date, Konthoujam AC and Wangoi AC of the District are yet to lift their allocated NFSA rice for June.
Kakching AC too completely lifted its allocated quantity of rice under Pradhan Mantri Garib Kalyan Anna Yojana (PMGKAY), consisting of 36.60 quintal under AAY/PMGKAY and 1,728.90 quintal under PHH/PMGKAY, from FCI godown, Sangaiprou today.
In Imphal East District, Thongju AC had completely lifted its allocated quantity of 1,753.80 quintal of PMGKAY rice today. The District also reported lifting of 105.28 quintal and 91.13 quintal of dal allocated for the month of May under PMGKAY for its Wangkhei AC and Khurai AC.
Singngat AC of Churachandpur District lifted 435.50 quintal of NFSA rice today completing its allocated quota for June. The AC also lifted 1,069.30 quintal of PMGKAY rice.
In Bishnupur District, Thanga AC had completely lifted its allocated 1,338.35 quintal of PMGKAY rice consisting of 1,239.70 quintal under PHH and 98.65 under AAY on 15th June, 2020. Phungyar AC of Kamjong District too lifted 1,028.15 quintal of NFSA rice on the same day completing its allocated quantity for the month of June.

Imphal, June 17, 2020 (DIPR): Several Assembly Constituencies (ACs) of the State continue to lift PDS items, specially rice, allocated for June 2020 from certain godowns located at various parts of the State. The lifted PDS items are for distribution to the beneficiaries of the ACs.
In Imphal West District, Khonthoujam AC and Wangoi AC had completely lifted their allocated 2,080.97 quintal and 1,917.7 quintal of rice respectively under National Food Security Act (NFSA) today. With today’s lifting all the ACs of the District had completely lifted their allocated quotas of NFSA rice for the month of June. Apart from lifting, 1,674.85 quintal of NFSA rice was also distributed to the beneficiaries of Keishamthong AC of the District.
There was report on lifting of rice in Imphal East District as well today. Andro AC and Heingang AC lifted 1,828.05 quintal and 1,890.05 quintal of rice respectively under Pradhan Mantri Garib Kalyan Anna Yojana (PMGKAY) thereby completing their allocated quotas.
In Tamenglong District too, Tamei AC under Tamei Sub-Division lifted 60.10 quintal of PMGKAY rice from FCI godown, Sangaiprou. Karong AC of Senapati District also lifted 2,160.20 quintal of rice under the same scheme today.
Churachandpur District reported lifting of 1,741.45 quintal of rice under NFSA for its Henglep AC today. Singngat AC of the District also lifted 981.25 quintal of PMGKAY rice completing its allocated quantity for the month of June. There was also report on lifting of 1,050 quintal of rice under PMGKAY for Tengnoupal AC on 16th June, 2020.
It may be mentioned that the State Government had been taking up concerted efforts, by distributing PDS items to the residents of the State, to ensure availability of foodgrain during the ongoing lockdown.
Status update on COVID-19 (June 17, 2020)
Imphal, June 19, 2020 (DIPR) : In its effort to ensure that the people of the State are provided adequate PDS items especially rice and dal, the State Government continues lifting of rice allocated for June and dal allocated for May 2020 in the State.
In continuing lifting of PDS rice today, Langthabal AC in Imphal West district lifted 700 quintal of rice under PMGKAY.
Tamenglong AC in Tamenglong district lifted 416 quintal of rice under NFSA while Nungba AC in Noney district too lifted 190.95 quintal of rice under PMGKAY from FCI godown, Sangaiprou.
In Churachandpur district, a total of 690.35 quintal of rice under PMGKAY was lifted today. The lifted rice includes 375.75 quintal for Thanlon (Mualnuam) AC and 314.60 quintal for Henglep AC. Both the ACs have completely lifted the allocated quota for the month of June. It is also reported that 150 quintal of rice (OMSS) under MLA-LAD was also lifted and distributed in Henglep AC.
Tadubi AC in Senapati district today lifted 1776.55 quintal of rice under PMGKAY while 1907.40 quintal of rice under the same scheme was also lifted on 18.06.2020. With these Tadubi AC have completely lifted the allocated quota for June.
In Imphal East district, 103.31 quintal of Dal under PMGKAY which consists of 82.84 quintal for Kshetrigao AC and 20.47 quintal for Yaiskul AC was lifted today. With this, lifting of dal allocated for the month of May, 2020 has been completed for the district.
A total of 731.55 quintal of rice under PMGKAY has been lifted from FCI godown, Ukhrul for Ukhrul AC on 18.06.2020.
The State Government has been distributing PDS items in all the districts of Manipur to ensure none to suffer on account of non-availability of foodgrains on the backdrop of the outbreak of COVID-19 and the ongoing lockdown in the State.

LIFTING AND DISTRIBUTION OF PDS ITEMS CONTINUES
Imphal, June 24, 2020 (DIPR): PDS rice allocated to Assembly Constituencies (ACs) of the State for June 2020 continues to be lifted from certain godowns located at various parts of the State.
In Imphal West District, a total of 2,473.4 quintal of rice under Pradhan Mantri Garib Kalyan Anna Yojana (PMGKAY) was lifted today. The lifted rice included 759.15 quintal for Singjamei AC, 912 quintal for Patsoi AC and 802.25 quintal for Konthoujam AC. 150 quintal of Chana was also lifted today.
Apart from lifting, 2,053.65 quintal of rice under National Food Security Act (NFSA) was also distributed to the beneficiaries of Keishamthong AC and Yaiskul AC of Imphal West District.
In Churachandpur District, 1,500.65 quintal of PMGKAY rice was lifted for its Churachandpur AC today. In the District, 191.74 quintal of Masoor dal including 16.49 quintal for Thanlon (Mualnuam) and 175.25 quintal for Saikot AC was also lifted.
There was report on lifting of 34.50 quintal of rice (OMSS) under MLA-LAD for Thanlon AC (Mualnuam) today. 704.50 quintal of rice under the same scheme was also distributed to the beneficiaries of Henglep AC (150 quintal), Saikot AC (520 quintal) and Mualnuam (Thanlon AC)(34.50 quintal) today.
Under Atma Nirbhar Bharat (Rice & Chana Whole) for May & June, 147.80 quintal of rice and 10.54 quintal of Chana Whole was lifted today in Churachandpur District while the same quantity was distributed to the beneficiaries of the District covering 527 families.
It may be mentioned that the State Government has been taking initiatives to ensure none to suffer on account of non-availability of foodgrain due to the ongoing lockdown in the State.
LIFTING OF PDS RICE FOR THE MONTH OF JUNE CONTINUES
Imphal, June 26, 2020(DIPR) : Lifting of PDS rice and dal allocated for the month of June, 2020 continues in the State. The PDS rice and dal are lifted, for distribution to beneficiaries residing in the State, to ensure availability of foodgrain during the ongoing lockdown.
In Imphal West today, Uripok AC had completely lifted its allocated 1,419.35 quintal of rice under Pradhan Mantri Garib Kalyan Anna Yojana (PMGKAY). Another 1,086.1 quintal of rice meant for Migrant Workers was also lifted while 158.5 quintal of rice was distributed to 3,170 Migrant Workers in the District. 8.5 quintal of Chana was also distributed as well.
In the District, 328.4 quintal, 1100.8 quintal and 1002 quintal of PMGKAY rice was lifted for Yaiskul AC, Patsoi AC and Konthoujam AC respectively on 25th June, 2020. Another 1122.75 quintal of rice was also lifted for Migrant workers. 150 quintal of rice was distributed to 3000 Migrant Workers while 10 quintal of Chana was also distributed in the district on the same day.
Churachandpur District too reported lifting of 1,374.35 quintal of rice under National Food Security Act (NFSA) for its Churachandpur AC and 520 quintal of Rice (OMSS) under MLA-LAD for Saikot AC today. 704.50 quintal of Rice (OMSS) under MLA-LAD was also distributed to the beneficiaries of Henglep AC (150 quintal), Saikot AC (520 quintal) and Mualnuam (Thanlon AC) (34.50 quintal). There was also report on distribution of 147.80 quintal of rice and 10.54 quintal of Chana Whole under Atma Nirbhar Bharat for the month of May and June.
Tengnoupal AC of Tengnoupal District lifted 772.85 quintal of NFSA rice thereby completing its allocated quota on 25th June, 2020 while in Kakching District, a total of 2,112.75 quintal of NFSA rice was lifted for its Hiyanglam AC (1,912.5 quintal) and Sugnu AC (200.25) on the same day.
In Thoubal district, 1468.90 quintal for Lilong AC and 2020.50 quintal of rice under PMGKAY for Thoubal AC were lifted on June 23 and 24 respectively. In the District, 2234 quintal of rice under the same scheme was distributed to the beneficiaries of Khangabok AC on June 24.
Ukhrul AC in Ukhrul District lifted 499.90 quintal of rice under PMGKAY from FCI godown, Ukhrul on June 25. For Tamei AC under Tousem Sub-Division in Tamenglong district, 588.94 quintal of rice under PMGKAY had been lifted on 24th June.
PR AND STATUS UPDATE ON COVID 19 (JUNE 27 AND 28)
LIFTING AND DISTRIBUTION CONTINUES FOR PDS RICE AND DAL
Imphal, June 27, 2020 (DIPR): To ensure availability of foodgrains across the State. PDS rice under National Food Security Act (NFSA) Pradhan Mantri Garib Kalyan Anna Yojana (PMGKAY) and OMSS including Dal are being lifted and distributed in the State.
In continuing lifting of PDS rice today, Imphal West district lifted a total of 4728 quintal of rice under PMGKAY for three assembly constituencies which includes 1600.85 for Thangmeiband AC, 1459.05 quintal for Keishamthong AC and 1668.1 quintal for Wangoi AC. The three ACs have completely lifted the allocated quota for the month of June. Beside lifting, 2272.83 quintal of rice under NFSA and 2270.7 quintal under PMGKAY were distributed in Patsoi AC and Lamsang AC respectively. 121 quintal of rice meant for Migrant workers was distributed to 2420 persons while 13 quintal of Chana was also distributed in Imphal West district.
In Churachandpur district, 1203.50 quintal of rice under NFSA and 110.65 quintal of Masoor Dal for Churachandpur AC was lifted today. A total of 704.50 quintal of Rice (OMSS) under MLA-LAD was also distributed in three ACs, which consists 150 quintal for Henglep AC, 520 quintal for Saikot AC and 34.50 quintal for Mualnuam, Thanlon AC. There was also report on distribution of 147.80 quintal of Rice and 10.54 quintal of Chana Whole for the month of May and June under Atma Nirbhar Bharat in Churachandpur district.
In respect of Thoubal district, 4035.9 quintal of rice under PMGKAY was distributed to the beneficiaries of Lilong AC (2015.40 quintal) and Thoubal AC (2020.5 quintal). There was also report of lifting 49.50 quintal and 8.54 quintal of Rice & Chana (for migrant workers for May & June). 524.76 quintal of Dal was lifted and distributed to FPS agents of 5 ACs except Lilong AC, the report added.
Ukhrul AC in Ukhrul district lifted 380 quintal of rice under PMGKAY from FCI godown, Ukhrul on June 26.
The State Government has been distributing PDS items in all the districts of Manipur to ensure none to suffer on account of non-availability of foodgrains on the backdrop of the outbreak of COVID-19 and the ongoing lockdown in the State.
STATE ENSURES PDS ITEMS REACH ITS BENEFICIARIES
Imphal, June 28, 2020 (DIPR): With the aim to ensure PDS items reach its beneficiaries during the ongoing lockdown, the Government continues to provide rice and dal to certain Assembly Constituencies of the State.
In Imphal West District, 70 quintal of rice was distributed to 1,400 migrant workers today. 10 quintal of Chana was also distributed to the beneficiaries in the District.
Apart from distribution, 4,807.25 quintal of rice under Pradhan Mantri Garib Kalyan Anna Yojana (PMGKAY) was also lifted today in Imphal West District. The rice was lifted for distribution to the beneficiaries of Sagolband AC (1,431.3 quintal), Singjamei AC (500.2 quintal), Naoriya Pakhanglakpa AC (1,895.4 quintal) and Mayang Imphal AC (980.35 quintal). With today's lifting, all the ACs in Imphal West District, except Sekmai-Saitu, had completely lifted their allocated quotas of PMGKAY rice for the month of June.
It may be mentioned that the State Government had been distributing PDS items to every households of the State under National Food Security Act , PMGKAY and Open Market Sale Scheme.
LIFTING AND DISTRIBUTION OF PDS RICE AND DAL CONTINUES UNABATED
Imphal, June 29, 2020 (DIPR) : In its effort to ensure that the people of the State are provided adequate PDS items especially rice and dal, the State Government continues lifting and distribution of rice and dal allocated for the month of June 2020 in the State.
With the lifting of 1587.35 quintal of rice under PMGKAY for Sekmai-Saitu AC in Imphal West district today, the district has completed lifting of the allocated quota of PMGKAY rice for the month of June, 2020. In respect of distribution, 2080.97 quintal of rice under NFSA was distributed in Konthoujam AC. 37 quintal of rice meant for migrant workers was distributed to 740 persons while 3.7 quintal of Chana was also distributed in the district.
Nungba AC in Noney district today lifted 617.8 quintal of rice under NFSA from FCI godown, Sangaiprou. Nungba AC too lifted 29.20 quintal under Atma Nirbhar Bharat for May & June from the same godown.
Churachandpur district has completed distribution of NFSA,PMGKAY,OMSS rice,Masoor Dal and Atma Nirbhar Bharat for the month of June, 2020.
In Tamenglong distirct, 622.66.000 quintal of rice under PMGKAY for Tamei AC has been lifted from FCI godown, Jiribam on June 28.
It is also reported that 178.16 quintal of Dal have been lifted for Karong AC in Senapati district on June 27.

Imphal, June 30, 2020 (DIPR): Several Assembly Constituencies (ACs) of the State continue to lift PDS items, specially rice, allocated for June 2020 from certain godowns located at various parts of the State. The lifted PDS items are for distribution to the beneficiaries of the ACs.
Tamenglong AC of Tamenglong District today lifted 28 quintal of rice under National Food Security Act (NFSA) and 96.75 quintal of dal under Pradhan Mantri Garib Kalyan Anna Yojana (PMGKAY) from FCI godown, Sangaiprou. The AC also lifted 48.50 quintal of rice under Atma Nirbhar Bharat for the month of May and June from the same godown. Tamei AC of Tamenglong District too completely lifted its allocated quantity of 113.77 quintal of PMGKAY masoor dal for this month from FCS godown, Sangaiprou today.
In Noney District, Nungba AC today completely lifted its allocated quantity of 75.66 quintal of PMGKAY dal for this month from FCI, Sangaiprou. There was also report on lifting of 2,268.55 quintal of NFSA rice, allocated to Mao AC of Senapti District for the month of July, on 29th June, 2020.
Apart from lifting carried out for certain ACs, there was distribution of PDS items in Imphal West District today. 4,619.1 quintal of NFSA rice was distributed to the beneficiaries of Lamsang AC and Mayang Imphal AC and another 106.5 quintal of rice was also distributed to 2,130 migrant workers. There was also report on distribution of 10.3 quintal of chana in the District.

LIFTING AND DISTRIBUTION OF PDS RICE AND DAL CONTINUES UNABATED
Imphal, July 01, 2020 (DIPR) : In its effort to ensure that the people of the State are provided adequate PDS items especially rice and dal, the State Government continues lifting and distribution of rice and dal allocated for the month of June 2020 in the State.
In continuing distribution in Imphal West district today, 5145.35 quintal of rice under NFSA was distributed in Singjamei, Sekmai and Thangmeiband AC’s. Another 3496.25 quintal of rice under PMGKAY was distributed in Thangmeiband and Naoriya Pakhanglakpa AC’s. 65.5 quintal of rice meant for migrant workers and 8 quintal of Chana were distributed to 1310 persons. Moreover, 112.05 quintal of Dal was also distributed in Thangmeiband assembly constituency.
In Ukhrul district, out of the total allocation of 3040.85 quintal of rice under NFSA, 956.6 quintal for Chingai AC has been lifted from FCI godown Ukhrul on June 30.

STATE CONTINUES TO ENSURE UNINTERRUPTED SUPPLY OF PDS ITEMS
Imphal, July 2, 2020(DIPR) : State Government continues to ensure uninterrupted supply of food grains, specially rice and dal, to the public during ongoing lockdown in the State to contain outbreak of COVID-19. The Government had been distributing PDS items under Pradhan Mantri Garib Kalyan Anna Yojana (PMGKAY), National Food Security Act (NFSA) and Open Market Sale Scheme (OMSS) to beneficiaries of 60 Assembly Constituencies (ACs) of the State.
In Imphal West today, 1,897.85 quintal of rice under NFSA was distributed to the beneficiaries of Langthabal AC and another 3,101.55 quintal of rice under PMGKAY was also distributed to the beneficiaries of Langthabal AC and Sagolband AC. In the District, there was also report on distribution of 139 quintal of rice and 13.5 quintal of Chana covering 2,780 migrant workers.
Imphal East District today reported lifting of 65.44 quintal and 88.57 quintal of dal under PMGKAY for its Keirao AC and Heingang AC respectively. The two ACs had completely lifted their allocated quantities of PMGKAY dal for the month of June.
LIFTING AND DISTRIBUTION OF PDS ITEMS CONTINUE
STATE GOVERNMENT ENSURES PDS ITEMS REACH TO THE BENEFICIARIES
Imphal, July 14, 2020(DIPR) : In its effort to ensure that the people of the State are provided adequate PDS items especially rice, the State Government continues lifting and distribution of rice in the State.
In continuing distribution in Imphal West district on July 13, a total of 3600.15 quintal of rice under PMGKAY were distributed in Patsoi and Sekmai Assembly Constituencies. The district had also distributed 93.5 quintal of rice meant for migrant workers to 1870 persons while the allocated 5.5 quintal of Chana for the district was completely distributed to migrant workers.
Ukhrul AC in Ukhrul district has reported lifting of 722.05 quintal of rice under NFSA from FCI godown Ukhrul on July 13.
In respect of Nungba AC in Noney district, 3.22 quintal of Chana under Atma Nirbhar Bharat for May & June have been lifted from FCI godown, Sangaiprou on July 06.
The State Government has been distributing PDS items in all the districts of Manipur to ensure none to suffer on account of non-availability of foodgrains on the backdrop of the outbreak of COVID-19 and the ongoing lockdown in the State.
