Longmai, Noney, the 17th September, 2024 (010): As part of the nationwide Swachhata Hi Seva 2024 Campaign, Noney ADM Stiff Khapudang on Tuesday launched the Swachhata Hi Seva-2024 programme at the DC Office Complex, Longmai.
A Swachhata Hi Seva pledge led by Stiff was also taken by everyone present at the function.
The main activity of today's launching function consisted of mass scale cleanliness drive in and around the Noney DC Office premises. PHED Noney spearheaded the campaign as the nodal department in the district.
The programme was also attended by ZEO Noney Xavier Longmei, CMO Dr. Zianthuilung Kamei, Executive Engineer PHED Thanchui Panmei and DCO (District Cooperative Officer) D. Dongaingam.
SDOs, SDCs, DLOs, members from various NGOs, officials and staff of the DC Office also took part in the overall function.
The campaign will include a variety of programmes like art exhibition/wall painting, marathon, sports league, human chain formations, selfie point, agriculture practice, quizzes, door to door awareness and youth connect in the coming days.
The Swachhata Hi Seva Campaign will be held from the 1J1h September to the 2nd October 2024.
