THOUBAL AUGUST 24, 2024(DIO): One day awareness program on prevention of drug &substance abuse among children and illicit trafficking was held today at Nimaichand and Keinya High school Thoubal .
The programme was jointly organised by Zonal Education Officer, District Social Welfare Officer, Chief Medical Officer, District Child Protection Unit and Office of the Superintendent of Police Thoubal.
About 60 students participated in program. Resource persons spoke on various topics like substance abuse among adolescents, Awareness on prevention of drug abuse & its preventive measures and Illicit drug trafficking.
The programme was held under the aegis of District Administration Thoubal.
