Kangpokpi, the 14th August, 2023 (DIO-IPR): The Har Ghar Tiranga campaign is being celebrated across the Kangpokpi district. The campaign which is celebrated as part of the Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav across the country kicked off yesterday and will be celebrated till tomorrow.
In the Kangpokpi district, the campaign kicked off at the Deputy Commissioner's Office Complex in the district Headquarters. The Indian National flags are being hoisted/flown in the Government offices/institutions, among others across the district.
Hoardings for the Har Ghar Tiranga campaign for the district are being provided by the Office of the District Information Office, Kangpokpi. On the other hand, the District Administration Kangpokpi began distribution of the Indian National flags to the various departments from August 11.
Har Ghar Tiranga campaign is celebrated to encourage people to bring the Tiranga (Indian National flag) home and to hoist it to mark the 75th year of India's Independence. The idea behind the initiative is to invoke the feeling of patriotism in the hearts of the people and to promote awareness about the Indian National flag.
