Churachandpur, Sept. 16, 2022 (DIO): The District Administration, Churachandpurheld District Hill Leaders’ Day and MeeyamgiNumit(People’s Day) today at Multipurpose Hall, Mini-Secretariat Complex, Tuibong.
The Deputy Commissioner of ChurachandpurShriSharath Chandra Arroju, joined by all District Level Officers and Officers from line departments interacted with the people to ensure that the grievances of the people were addressed adequately.
As a part of the programme, 41 different government departments set up tables. Vaccination programme and Health check-up counters were setup by Health Department. 14 persons were administered vaccination and 26 persons were provided free medical check-up.Written applications ondifferent subjects including drug menace in the town and frequent power shutdown were also received.
A total of 150 complaints/applications were received out of which 110 were resolved on the spot and 40 still pending.
Public leaders, village chiefs, CSO leaders, DLOs from different departments and a huge number of people take part in the event.
Churachandpur district organizes ‘MeeyamgiNumit’ and Hill Leaders’ Day on the 3rd Friday every month to attend to the grievances of the public.
